"ORGANIGLOW" Organic, All Natural, Clear Airbrush Tanning Solution
A 100% Organic, All Natural, FDA Approved, alcohol, paraben, and odor free, aloe based moisturizing formula that contains 10% Dihydroxyacetone, Aloe Vera, Vegetable Based Glycerin, White Tea Extract, Grapefruit Seed Extract and Citric Acid. This solution is meant to be blended in different ratios with our "ORGANIGLOW" Dark Tropical Formula to produce different levels of initial color depending on your client’s skin tone. Used by itself it can impart a beautifully tanned appearance over time without the inclusion of our bronzer.
Perfect for the business man or woman that doesn’t wish to deal with bronzer rubbing off on their clothing, the clear formula provides no immediate results but color starts to develop within a couple of hours and darkens steadily over time. Additionally, some skin afflictions such as actinic (Solar) keratosis, large pores, and hair follicles react unfavorably to bronzing formulas that can make the condition even more noticeable due to excessive darkening. The clear base formula is an essential part of our two part color customizable system.

"ORGANIGLOW" Organic, All Natural, Dark Tropical Airbrush Tanning Solution

A 100% organic, All Natural, alcohol, paraben, odor and fragrance free, aloe based moisturizing formula that contains 12% Dihydroxyacetone, Aloe Vera, Vegetable Based Glycerine, White Tea Extract, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Citric Acid and the darkest bronzer available. It imparts a beautifully natural initial color giving your clients immediate gratification. When used by itself it is dark enough to please the bodybuilder and fitness contestant. Blending with our Clear Formula in different ratios is recommended to custom tailor the initial color to the individual client's skin tone while maintaining a totally natural color throughout its range. This solution will be too dark for the average client. Again, blending with our "ORGANIGLOW" Clear Formula in different ratios is recommended. Color blending is very easy with the dispensing pumps. For instance, a fair person would be best with a blend of 25% Dark to 75% Clear.


Before and After Spray Tanning Application

Skin: If you feel you have highly sensitive skin, or you have any doubts, we recommend a small localized test spray to check your skin compatibility before having your full LaserTouch SoHo Organic body spray. Clothing: We recommend that you wear dark, loose fitting attire after your appointment. Any minor rub-off will easily wash out of most fabrics, but some lighter colored materials, including leather, may stain. You may want to consider putting a towel over your sheets before lying down as some color may rub off.

Sunscreen: LaserTouch SoHo Organic spray tanning does not provide any sun protection and it does not contain a sunscreen. Please make sure you apply sunscreen to prevent sunburn when outdoors.

How do the sunless tanning products work?
The active ingredient in almost all modern sunless tanning products is dihyroxyacetone (DHA). A colorless sugar, DHA interacts with the proteins and amino acids in the outer layer of your skin to produce a golden brown color.
Gone are the orange tones associated with the products of old. In addition to DHA, most products contain an immediate bronzer. The formulation of the bronzer determines the initial color of your skin after application. This is where most products miss the mark. DHA is DHA and will always produce the same results, so if you don't like the color of your skin after the product has been applied it is because the bronzer has poor coloration. At LaserTouch SoHo, our bronzer was designed for professional makeup artists. Used under the lights and in front of the cameras, the color is perfect. Come see for yourself.

Can the color and fragrance be customized to meet individual tastes and skin tones?
At LaserTouch SoHo we use The Scentual Sun tanning system which is the only fragrance and color customizable tanning system available. You can choose the color you desire from light to a dark tropical tan. In addition, our products are fragrance customizable as well. Choose from unscented, Tropical Mango, Fresh Green Apple, Chamomile Cucumber, Nature's Rain, Vanilla, and Baby Powder. At LaserTouch SoHo we can satisfy the most discriminating tastes. Is it safe?
Yes. Dihydroxyacetone has been FDA approved for use in the personal care industry for years. No adverse effects have been reported other than minor skin irritations on allergic people. Allergic reactions are extremely rare and can usually be eliminated by showering. Although no problems have been reported, we do not recommend use by pregnant women. Your natural glow will have to suffice until you deliver.

How long will my sunless tan last?
Your tan will last five to seven days or longer depending upon your ability to follow a proper daily moisturizing regiment. A sunless tan fades just like a tan from the sun. As your body naturally exfoliates itself, off with it goes your tan. Proper hydration is the key to maximum longevity.
For those of you who would like to maximize the time between visits, daily use of LaserTouch SoHo’s Moisturizing Tan Extender, a unique blend of the finest skin conditioners and a small concentration of DHA, can extend your tan for up to two weeks keeping it smooth and even looking throughout its duration. It even helps enhance the tan received from natural sunlight or tanning beds.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my tanning session?
Yes. The evening prior to being tanned you should exfoliate using a body brush or quality scrub. Removing any dead cells will help the sunless tanner penetrate your skin and give you the best results. Do not use moisturizers prior to being tanned as they can clog pores and prohibit proper penetration. Makeup and deodorants can also prohibit absorption but they can be removed prior to your session at the salon.
If you choose to be tanned in a bathing suit, we suggest you buy one especially for use while tanning or use an older one. During the tanning process there is always a chance that some of the mist may get on whatever you're wearing. You should also wear loose fitting dark colored clothing as some of the bronzer can rub off on your clothes after you've been tanned. Natural fibers like 100% cotton sweats or Baggies are best. Any color that rubs off can be washed out during a normal wash cycle.

Will I have tan lines?
You will have tan lines if you choose to be tanned wearing a bathing suit or other undergarments. Some of our customers prefer to be tanned in the nude to avoid tan lines. This is a personal preference and we leave it up to the customer to decide.

Why is an airbrush application better than those misting booths or applying by hand?
The airbrush is a precision instrument that allows for a smooth, flawless application. Special care can be taken to avoid over application on problem areas such as knees, elbows, hair and blemishes that tend to absorb more color.
Mist-on booths require a series of body contortions within the booth to cover each area. The operator or the consumer has no control over the product and where it ends up. A shower cap must be worn to protect the hair from discoloration. A natural look will take the tan up to the hairline. This can’t be achieved in a booth without exposing it to the mist. Covering the hairline completely results in unsightly tan lines on the forehead and neck.
Hand application often results in streaky coloration and stained hands due to the inability to properly apply the product by yourself.
The airbrush with its inherent precision and flexibility is by far the application method of choice.

How long does it take?
A typical full-body session takes about twenty minutes and an additional five to ten minutes should be allowed for drying time prior to getting dressed. Partial body services take proportionately less time.
